This week our prayer lesson from the book is to ask the Holy Spirit for the power of supplication. This sounds very confusing. The power of supplication is the ability to ask, to plead, the promises of God on behalf of others as well as ourselves. Here are a few different translations for Ephesians 6:18In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each others spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.Pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers, asking for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready and never give up. Always pray for all God’s people.Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. So let us remember to pray for all of the believers everywhere and also pray for our Sunday Night team as they prepare for the coming service.
